Jordan Rhodes as Senator MacMurphy in the remake of "All The Kings Men,"starring Sean Penn.

For Your Information and Consideration

Jordan Rhodes has been called "the quintessential working actor". That’s hardly surprising as his theatrical career spans five decades and includes over two hundred roles in film, television and theatre. Jordan prefers to call himself a "blue collar" working actor, a jobber that’s still working at his trade more than forty-five years after his first television debut.  He has been referred to as "one of the two or three best character actors working today". Jordan currently stars as Ernest Hemingway with actress Lynn Moore  in the professional touring production of PAPA, "the man, the myth, the legend" - A Tribute to Ernest Hemingway, which he also co-wrote.  After more than a year and a half on the road, the play is being considered for Broadway and a limited run in London. Jordan has recently taken time off from the play to appear in two films, the remake of "All The Kings Men" starring Sean Penn, and "The Writer’s Pub" which stars Jordan and Henry Darrow.

Jordan made his national television debut in New York in 1958 on David Suskind’s ESSO REPERTORY THEATRE. In 1965, he moved to Los Angeles and began working on the TV series, PEYTON PLACE. Jordan’s movie credits include, ALL THE KINGS MEN, THE WRITER’S PUB, THE INDIAN RUNNER, CATHEDRAL (based on the book by Raymond Chandler), THE YOUNG COUNTRY, BUMS, 1776, MISTER MAJESTYK and MAROONED. His recurring roles on TV include, MATLOCK, STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO, ALL MY CHILDREN, RYAN’s HOPE and GUIDING LIGHT. Jordan has guest-starred or co-starred in more than a hundred TV series, Mini-Series and Movies-of-the-Week including, LAW & ORDER, TO DANCE WITH OLIVIA, DAWSON’S CREEK, HART TO HART, SWITCH, THE ROCKFORD FILES, QUINCY, MARCUS WELBY,MD, ADAM-12, BARNABY JONES, BONANZA, THE BLUE & THE GRAY, THE NIGHTSTALKER and TESTIMONY OF TWO MEN. Jordan’s voice-over work includes:  Kodak, The Nashville Network, CMT, RC Cola, The United Way,  Bob Evans Restaurant, Oldsmobile and numerous regional spots.  He has toured in many theatrical productions including co-starring with Ms. Barbara Rush in Oliver Haily’s hit play, FATHER’S DAY. Jordan has worked with many of the top stars including, John Wayne, Michael Douglas, Gene Hackman, Jodie Foster, Dennis Hopper, Sean Penn, Gregory Peck, Nick Nolte, Mia Farrow, Robert Wagner, Jill St. John, Leslie Nielsen, James Garner and Stephanie Powers, to name a few.
